Difficulty Curve

My major concern with this is the difficulty of it, you are pretty much thrown in at the deep end for much of it, the opponent has much faster refresh time and often more strength, this is partly down to money being so slow to obtain, this makes it tedious to play.

I do like the concept and I like the little animations, the artwork is also pretty nice as well as the wide range of gangs to choose from, the sounds are also pretty decent. But this is all let down by, as first mentioned, the difficulty. It would have been nice to have a setting to change this, so for those who just want a bit of fun, then they can play Easy and those who want a challenge can pick Hard.

The other thing I don't really like is the very brief instructions, you shouldn't have to start a new game to see them, there should be an option on the menu to see them and it would have been good to see a Tutorial Gang possibily, with one zone so that you can get an idea of how to play.

But other than that, I do think it was good and I got some enjoyment out of it.

Somewhat Lacking

The game as a whole is pretty simple and nice, easy to learn and such but I found myself ending the game 1 short most of the time, this could have easily been fixed with random power ups, like stoping time or adding a little more time. The fish also get fairly annoying, there could have been a way to drop whatever you had on your hook.

But regardless of that, the graphics are very nice and the groan sound effect, although a little over used, fits in well and the music is very fitting as well, the game is easy to learn and a nice time waster, the only problem I had is the lack of mechanics. So overall, I think this is a good game.

Addictive

This is one of those games that is really hard to just stop playing, once I started playing this, I just couldn't stop until I completed it, the versious ways of winning are good and so is the continue playing option, I only considered it complete once I had taken back every square so I always clicked play on for the other parts.

I didn't bother reading the tutorial so I started kind of badly but it wasn't hard to get used to and start getting into the swing of things, I only played on easy anyway so it also wasn't too hard because of that. What I don't like is that your scientists are useless once you have researched everything, maybe having some stationed in hostpitals as doctors would be better and it would increase the need for hospitals and scientists to make sure your survivers lived on.

Also, once a consitution is drafted, maybe selecting some survivers to be the goverment could add another dynamic, that's if the player chooses to carry on playing, something that adds extra bonuses depending who is selected.

But I don't think any of this is really needed, it is still a great game without all of this and I enjoyed playing it.

Very Simple

It looks very simple and lacks data validation, sure it adds text if you leave it blank but it should really not allow you to continue if it's been left blank, if you want to allow someone to leave a box blank, have a checkbox/button/keyword that makes that box blank. I also think a greater range of icons would be better and the choice of multiple buttons, since some errors would give "Okay | Cancel" if you see what I mean.

It's a start and that's good but it really needs to be expanded, more options, a nicer looking interface and such. Some music would be good too, it's just a little quiet without anything, maybe even a fake desktop in the background would improve this a little bit. Again, good start but lacking in content.

Awful Controls

The thing that lets this game down the most is the terrible control of the car, I kept getting stuck in the obsticals, at one point I couldn't even get out so I ended up losing the race. Yes I am bad at driving games but it doesn't help when you can't compete a race because you get stuck in something.

Everything else is good though, nice sounds, good graphics and everything, the gradual build up of upgrades isn't very friendly though, the prices rise very steeply, there are no cheap things after the first upgrade. Customisation is nice, pointless but good and the music is pretty good. Again though, I am rating this low because my car seems to be coated in super glue.

Intresting

I thought this game was quite intresting, it kept me entertained for a while anyway, I had a go on it before I went out today, but didn't do too well then, nightmare seemed very hard to do. Though now I've had more of a chance to play it, I can see how to do it, even with 4 hearts, if you have gotten the skills through the game, it makes it easier, double jump and the hardness one are both usfull, it made nightmare seem too easy with those, haha.

Controls where simple, although I have a terrible habit of pressing UP for jump when games use the arrow keys, kind of disappointing that there was no way that I found to stun enemies, I am too impatiant to wait for them to move, so I ended up dying a lot (add a suicide medal). Other than that though, it was good, fun and no real problems with the game or the ending.

100% wasn't impossible to get in this game like most people make them, so that's good, I hardly ever complete games 100% so I'm glad I could this one and got to see a demo of the sequal, which looks intresting but some introduced controls are confusing to start with, I won't say more about it, don't want to ruin it for those who haven't seen it. If I can get 100% in a game though, anyone can.

Ammusing

I thought this was ammusing, for a while anyway, the main problem with this is that it makes my fingures hurt pressing the down or s key a lot to get the planes or helicopters down. Another thing I wasn't too keen on was the time, it's no fun having a time limit or not being able to increase it, or as it's put in this game "distance left", I mean a free mode where it doesn't log onto the highscores would be nice.

Soundwise this is good, a very simple game to figure out too, I only took a small look at the controls and I was off, although I suck at these sorts of games, well any game really but that's beside the point. Graphics where nice and everything, so yeah, good job on this, just a few things I didn't like.

Random

As far as the game goes, it's a nice addition to the previous one of it's kind, simple to play and so forth. Although the graphics aren't too good, they aren't bad either but the animation for death is pretty dull and the death sounds get kind of boring, if there where more and random, it would have been easier to listen to. The music is fine and background sounds work well enough, not destracting.

Much of the time, it seems pretty random in how you fire, you can shoot at the same angle but get a totally diffrent result it seems. It makes the walkthrough seem pretty usless, for the harder castles, it's important to get it right and it seems to be more luck than anything, very little room to learn much. Uh, skip button on the intro would be nice too, it's very pretty but not much point watching over and over everytime the game is loaded.

I enjoyed this

I do like games like this, it's kind of fun, although one major thing I didn't like about this was the lack of upgrades, it made it very limited and I wasn't too pleased on the lack of rests either. Gaining money and experiance after battles would have been nice, being able to buy/upgrade after every boss or two would have been good too.

Upgrading would have been good here because it means you can get more mana, which is usful for fighting the harder bosses, also checkpoints would be nice too as oppose to starting all over again. I did like the graphics and the animations, the attacks where cool too. It's a nice game, it's just a shame that it seems to be missing so much to me.

Okay

Well I can't see too much diffrence here, I can't really tell what the bugs where that you fixed. The intro looks a little bad still, the box opening and the menu tweeing to expand, doesn't really look too attactive, just cutting stright to the menu would have looked better I think.

Some of the effects are nice, I will say that, I did personally like some of them, but there are others, such as the nothing which is pointless and the smily one which doesn't look all that great. The whole idea of this isn't very creative either, it's been done countless times and such, so expanding on the basic concept would have been good for your final version.

A game is possible with this, probably countless games, infact you could make one where you unlock effects through meaningless tasks. It would be much more entertaining. I mean this might ammuse some people as it is, but personally it doesn't really grab my attention, the music fits though.

Overall I think you need more solid structure.

The only thing I dont get is why people care if it has been done before... It is like making another first person shooter with original guns and enimies, but voting 0 on it because a first person shooter has been done before.

You see, this is very different from the other "mouse effects" games because I used different coding and went on a different aspect. I made it into an original art gadget that you can just sit back and trance to.

Thanks for your opinion though, and I will try to put in some sort of gaming element in my next one.

This water is making my head feel really funny, what did you put in it?
