Ooo Worms

Very nice take on the Worms game I belive, it's pretty good to play and everything, simple to learn and having two players is also good, though the jumping seems to a little annoying at times when you want to get over something, wastes too much time, maybe increase the jump height. I like the fact that the weapons are limited to how much money you have, that's a nice idea.

The graphics are good, animation is also good and the music also fits into the whole thing very well, so that's nice too. The opening part to the menu was also very fitting and looked very good with the whole thing. So my only problem is the jump height and maybe the lack of damage done by some weapons.

Amazing!

I love this game, it was really confusing at first but I got the hang of it pretty soon, I liked Tetris for one thing but I have to say this really gives it a whole new look and everything, very nice although the fact that it's a circle means I started to get a little dizzy you know. But other than the dizziness, I liked the gameplay, it will still take sometime to get used to.

I'm not bothed about there being no background music, I can get over that, the sound effects are also very nice too, so good job on them. One thing I don't like is the game over text, seems to look a little bleh and the button could do with some improvments in looks. But other than that, very good work!

Needs Work

There are many places here you could improve, the menu could look a little better for one thing and the game could be a little better. For example, use a shorter length car and maybe increase the lives by one if you compleat a level. Also, you could have diffrent levels of difficulty which have diffrent speeds of movement to them and you could also have a score system too.

Overall it's a basic game which does have room for many improvments, mostly in terms of looks and the layout, other than those things, you have a decent base. Keep working at it though.

Great!

I remember playing a game like this on my PDA, maybe that's where you go the idea, but still it's nice to see it done in flash and it really seems to work well. Although I have to say, it would be better if you had the selection of what would vanish and then click again to make them vanish, that would make it easier though, but eh.

The sound is good, would be nice for the music to be on my default and have it turned off in the settings if someone didn't want it. Also the menu seemed a bit eh to me, it was nice to have it slide up and down, but seemed a little to slow to happen, maybe speed that up a little. Otherwise I enjoyed this, good job :)

Quite Unoriginal

I've seen this idea done before and pretty much in the same manner, though that aside, the flash itself plays pretty well although I had a problem with the dart tower not fireing at the enemies, that might be something you want to fix, also the boulder tower works too quick making it the only tower you need for the start, have a reload time to add some challange at the start.

The animation is fine and the music is good to, although the path could do with some work and maybe a little more attention to some of the details, though not a great deal of major problems in this, pretty good work alround.

Intresting

Although this game is very simple, it is still pretty intresting to play and some what of a decent puzzle, it does require time and thinking in some cases, but eh I like these sorts of games. It's not hard to learn how to play and it's certainly pretty nice to see too. Not too difficult and not too easy to start although it does get easier throught.

It could have diffrent difficulties in it with diffrent sets but otherwise, I thought it was nice, decent sound and a nice look to it did make it something that's worth passing time, not too exciting but certainly pretty intresting.

Hmm

The layout of this to start with is pretty poor, the text isn't in the most readable font, try something simple and don't use a background with an image, all the circles are fine but don't use an image. The wording is also quite hard to understand, I have made three diffrent kinds of preloaders in the past and I could not see where this was going, it's hard to picture and hard to carry out.

You need to have clear instructions on this, what you have written sounds very rushed and seems to lack any reason, you have put more time in the looks and the audio than the actual tutorial. The audio is fine, but I don't see the need for three songs, one song and a mute button would be fine, concentrate on the tutorial next time.

Contrary to your comment, I worked equally as hard on the tutorial in general than the image. I wanted to add my own style and my tutorial is not the first tutorial to have 3 songs on it. I have good sight, so the text didn't bother me, and I didn't think that it'll bother others. You have gravely misunderstood the concept, intentions and otherwise point of the flash. But you are intitled to youropinion and I respect and acknowledge that.
Thanks for your review.

Intresting

Pretty amusing game for a while, but soon becomes a little repetative. The idea is pretty good and it seems to have been executed quite well too, I also like the diffrent images from the scans, although it is a little hard to tell which staff will catch you and when at first. The animation is pretty good too and the opening menu is nice to see.

It is still pretty good though, but maybe you could have a random notice of termination insted of it being the same over and over. But still, pretty good overall and somewhat diffrent, keep it up.

Very Basic

A button is something that is quite simple to make, I realise this is for beginners but the first thing that hits me is the navigation and layout of this, to be honest I think it is quite poor and if not a little intimidating to someone who would be new. I would suggest keeping it simple and having one fram for each part, includ a screenshot on that frame as oppose to having to click a button to see it.

You wrote something about buttons, nice but maybe a little pointless, that could have been mentioned on the menu. Also the actionscript can be done diffrently, it might be worth mentioning Frame Lables with the gotoAndPlay script.

The blocks of text aren't broken down to well or in a very easy to read layout, they could be presented better in my opinion, the whole presentation could be improved with some nice looking buttons, a nice background, just something more plesent to look at really and some work on working and details would be nice. Good luck writting future tutorials.

Phantox responds:

Well I made the screen shots on different frames because if I made them all in 1 frame it could be hard for the reader to understand what they have to do. I thought it would be easier for the user to click on a button when they didn't understand on what to do.

Anyways, thanks for the review.

This water is making my head feel really funny, what did you put in it?
