Alright

Music isn't really something I pay a great deal of attention to, so I can't really get too much about this though some of the jokes you have used are still pretty funny although there could be some more voice work on them, I mean it's clear and easy to hear but sometimes I think you don't quite say it in the way that it is suppost to be ment, so maybe work on that.

The graphics where sprites mostly and verious backgrounds, okay so it worked but wasn't anything too special, the mouth movement also did it's job fine. Although I was a little worried that there wasn't much character movement, it kind of made the flash lack in a way. But otherwise, a pretty decent job ;)

I'm not quite sure what to make of this flash, parts of it did seem kind of amusing but other parts where not so. Some of the sounds where also kind of annoying and hard to listen to, fix the quality of some and many of the screeming ones I wouldn't use, they are really harsh to listen to. The graphics where very diffrent through the whole animation, some where good and others where bad though I can see that was done for a reason.

The whole plot just seemed kind of random though and had no real direction to it, of course it does kind of work but I think it's ruined by the parts that have high pitched noises, I can get over the flashing lights because those in a way fit in. Some of the voices where pretty good to, but others not so, so it's really kind of spilt.

Needs Work

The music to start with didn't sound the best of quality, it kind of sounded like you recorded it from a player to your PC, try to have the music file on your PC and import it to flash as oppose to recording it, also the music cut short of the end of the flash, which wasn't too good, should have lasted the whole length.

The animation, well parts of it where okay but other parts seem to be rough or badly drawn, you need to put a little more time into them. The idea was pretty random to, it didn't really seem to have any direction. The length I can understand the kind of shortness to it because it was part of a collab originally, still you could have edited this version a little.

Ah Yotsuba&!

I haven't read the manga in quite sometime now but I do remember reading the one this is based on, though only slightly so I can't remember how accurate this is, maybe you could say, it would save me looking it up, lol.

It's pretty short and fast paced, not really a problem though if it was a little longer it would be nice, it is also pretty funny though maybe if the last part was done a touch slower it would be more so. The graphics are pretty poor but at the same time pretty nice looking, they could be improved a touch though.

But overall, not to bad, the audio was clear and everything else looked good, I would like to see a longer Yotsuba&! animation though, I think that would be good :3

Thanks for the kind words. The animation is pretty accurate to the manga--panel for panel up until the very last line. <3 I figured it would just be a silly way to end it.

Yeah, the graphical quality was turned way down as I never really expected to turn this into Newgrounds but just show it to a very few friends who'd get the joke. I got up the nerve to share some of my shorts here on this site though, Yotsubato! including.

I do need to work on making better links though.

There actually is an extended Yotsuba animation on Newgrounds, if you haven't already stumbled across it. It's called Metal Gear Yotsuba--and there's plenty of source material references thrown into that mix too.

Nice

The graphics where pretty good here although some of the animation seemed a little off in parts. I don't quite get the reason he's there either but then I haven't seen the first yet, but anything after that does seem to work and doesn't really seem to stand out as needed to watch the first of them, which is pretty good.

It seems like a well thought out plot and takes up a decent amount of time, which is good to see. Although the voice acting was pretty quiet and maybe a little off in parts where it could be better, I mean turning up my volume helped but maybe a little louder wouldn't hurt, lol. The sound effects and music where alright and fit pretty well, so good job on that and overall.

Alright

It's not too bad, the song is pretty good and the quality is nice too, I also like the fact that you have two sets of subtitles so it isn't compleatly lost on people who can't speak the language it is spoken in, I know I can't, lol. But a pretty intresting idea here, although maybe a little stange to many people.

The animation itself is pretty good in some places but a little off in others, like the moving mouths of the creatures, it would look better if they moved with the music. The drawings where pretty good too but some of them lacked detail, like the clothes of the workers, they just looked plain red, some added detail would look nice.

But otherwise, a pretty good peice of flash here, good job on this one and good luck with works in the future :)

Okay Then

Well congrats on getting the first submission of 2008 again, lol. As for the flash itself, well it seems a lot like just a collection of some flash from over the year, it would have been much better to see a flash with a plot and something diffrent than what has been submitted over the year, but eh.

Some of the opening graphics seemed a little rushed maybe, like very flat just like shapes with not much done to them, although if you didn't spend long on this it would explain the opening bit. The voice acting was fine apart from in some of the old parts where you have some a little too quiet, dobut you still have those sounds to edit unless you keep everything, lol.

Well, good luck with future animations and a happy late new year ;)

If I didn't have my Christmas flash to work on, I'd have thought of a better idea for the New Year, but hey, this is better than nothing.

Regarding the quiet voices, I assume this is for the top 10 favourite flash moments. Some I probably won't have as a WAV sound outside flash anymore since before I had an External Hard Drive, I had to delete as much files as possible to have some space on my Main Hard Drive and a lot of sound files were deleted to save space.

Umm Okay

Well the joke was pretty strange in a way, more expecting something else rather than what it turned out to be. It was a little short and probably silly too, though nothing too wrong with that. The graphics where decent and the animation was also pretty good too, although some things looked a little small like his hand.

The introduction part was also pretty diffrent I have to say. Well, everything else is decent, just a little odd and maybe a touch short, more than one joke might have been better. Well anyway, keep it up.

Alright

Well the menu was decent again which is okay and I see you have incuded a wide cast into this story as well as the ending which looks like it'll probably be included in a flash of its own and if it doesn't, I suggest you do because that might be pretty intresting to see a flash linked from this.

Everything else was pretty much like the first in terms of graphics, should really not keep things so flat because it can look pretty bad, so keep working on your drawing and everything, also find some shortcuts to animating in places, it might help with the looks, lol. Decent ending, not quite what I expected to see.

Well the graphics could still do with some work and the animations, just as a suggestion, when you have someone holding a book like the carrol singers, hide the hands by covering them with the book, it saves drawing the hands holding it and might work, lol. Or keep working on trying to have them hold things insted of just having flat hands.

Some of the voice acting was good but other parts where a little off, also Afro_Stud talks a little quiet, maybe increase the volume or talk louder for those parts, lol. Still, decent story and time, also a good place to end it for the second part and the menu looked pretty decent too.
