Pretty Good

Pretty good game here, though I would maybe change the look of the timer, it seems to look a little ugly to me just being a number at the top of the screen, maybe put a nice box around it or something, just to improve it a little. It's kind of easy to get stuck infront of the forklift too, maybe you could allow to enter from the front as well as the back.

The graphics are good and the animation here seems to have been done well, so good work on both of those points. The game is also quite fun to play, so yeah, I like the rank for the time it took at the end to, that was good. So overall, very nice work here.

Needs Work

There's nothing really too new about this that seperates it from other Windows flash like this, that and this one has a few problems with it. Such as the paint program you put into this, it allows you to draw on the desktop, which might need fixing. Also, while allowing the users to move windows around, it can cause the window to get stuck to the cursor so you have to close the game.

The icons have a weird white pixilated area around them, that might need fixing, maybe draw your own icons. The start menu seems to be badly layed out too, which isn't good, look wise this needs work, some of the jokes are fine but it would be nice to see some more activity.

The programs work, unlike others.

Not Good

There are a lot of Windows games out there, you really should come up with some ideas that are unique to this, that would make it much more enjoyable. Use a bigger stage size and smaller icons, you can get more in that way, also try to add games to it and more to do, I found most of the jokes to be pretty dull and not really even smile worthy.

The content is lacking, the replay value is lacking even more, there's no point updating this one flash, you should just start from scratch with better ideas. You have some decent images, I can't see anything wrong with the looks other than being too big, just seems a tad boring is all.

Intresting

Thought I wouldn't say this is without actionsctipt because you use actionscript in the buttons don't you? So yeah, it doesn't seem to be totally without it, though trying to follow a long line that's narrow seems to be pretty hard to do, maybe something a little easier to start and harder as it goes in.

The game itself is pretty intresting, though not really the most exciting game to play, more than just holding and draging to get to somewhere would have been nice, clues to where it is too, like riddles and such. Maybe a little more actionscript would be needed than just buttons but yeah. Also maybe show a timer for it, would help, lol.

Bezman responds:

I already explained this all in the BBS thread that I link to above.

The buttons don't use AS - I just use the different frames to show changing graphics. Seriously, no AS.

You get to see the button fading out as you go over it. Is a timer really needed?

Riddles might be cool, but hard to think of... still, I've got an idea...

Thanks for the review!

Pretty Simple

The idea to this game is pretty simple and it's pretty simple to learn too. The little game on the preloader could have had more than just running to it, not sure what you could have had. The game itself it's too entertaining though, it's very simple and the objects aren't that plesent to look at, some better graphics would be good.

The sound is okay and everything else, can't really think of much else to say, it's really just a standard avoider game when it all comes down to it, better graphics would be good and everything.

When you say "The game itself it's too entertaining though," are you saying it isn't entertaining or it's TOO entertaining, lol. I'll assume the negative :( I'm sorry you didn't like the falling objects. I tried to make it a little better than a standard avoider by adding lasers, comments, and a crazy background, but I guess that wasn't good enough. Next time maybe! Thanks for the review!
But now I'm probably getting 6's from now on :(

Intresting

It's definatly an intresting idea to have and is set out very well which is good to see, though there is one thing that bothers me about this, it is quite hard to tell from the 3D version where everything is and the 2D charts aren't all that easy to tell either, though maybe spending more time on playing, I'd pick it up.

The music is pretty good and the gameplay is pretty good, as well as the 3D version being pretty cool looking, lol. So good job on that and on much of everything here. Not sure on what you could improve here, much of it seems good enough already.

CaptinChu responds:

I was thinking of adding a glowing box for each cubicle place every time you hovered over a 2D part. With what I knew at the time I made this, I couldn't very easily do that, but the next version may have a feature like this.

Kind of Simple

It doesn't really come across as a really complex game to me, as well as when you have a lot of ballons moving across the screen, it seems to lag the whole game, for me anyway, though the more that go, the smoother it gets. I played this first by clicking then wondered if you had the Alt+Enter exploit to this game, but it seems you have fixed that, so good work on that.

The quality of the music was a bit eh, maybe export at a higher setting or something, it really sounded like the music suffered here and some of the buttons had some pretty poinless effects, keep them simple but plesent looking. The game was easy to learn to play, but hard to click at first due to the lag of the game.

Matt-Porter responds:

I'm worried about my bigger projects going all laggy now, scary stuff. I guess I should really start testing all my games on a worse computer, mine just doesn't experience lag at all. As for gameplay mechanics, it's definitely a simple game and that's all it was meant to be. The audio quality was a little lower then what I wanted, but I really liked the 1MB file size so I said the hell with it, it seemed worth the decrease in file size. Thanks for noticing my ALT + ENTER fix, I thought it was pretty clever hehe.

Thanks for reviewing, keep an eye out for stabika 3 and be sure to review it :)

Pretty Simple

Well it's a pretty simple game to play and everything however it really does seem to work, nothing wrong with it that I can really spot. Although I must say compared to other games like this, this one seems to be a little easier, you have more control while in the air, so it makes it that little easier. Although still not the sort of game I'm keen on but pretty good.

The sounds are good and the effects are nice, also the counter is pretty good and fits with the thing. Instructions might want to be a little more in depth but they where good enough I thought anyway. The graphics where pretty nice and everything, so overall a good job on this game.

Scottoons responds:

Thank you very much, Little-Rena! It's good to know that it appeals to those who aren't usually into these types of games.

Not Very Fun

It's not really a very fun game to play, there isn't a whole lot here that is very entertaining, there could really be so much more. The presentation of the menu was nice and the main game background was nice but the game itself didn't have much to it, it really just seemed to be a bunch of random buttons put onto one frame and you had to guess which was the right one.

I would recommend having some more point to the game, maybe have a method of actually working out which is the right button. As for having all play buttons and calling it a preloader game is kind of eh, maybe some more ideas in the way of making it a game about preloaders.

Chaz-o responds:

Well.. that IS the bastic concept of the game.

Pretty Good

Nothing to amazing here but it was pretty good, the graphics here where the best thing about it and the sounds where pretty good too. Though the movement was kind of weird with the clicking, using the keyboard to move would have been a lot better, as well as the charator getting stuck at times, lol. I also thought it was a bit of a shame the you couldn't interact with the piano, that would have been nice to have.

The other games are pretty good, the pool table is okay just seems a little strange, the rhythm games where kind of odd though, I mean yeah they where pretty good but such a common idea. It's also a shame that you can't leave the area to easily. Could do with some more parts to it, move to do and such, but pretty nice.
