"Lacking"

date: July 12, 2008

It sounds to be lacking quit a lot in terms of beat, I think it could do with a little more, especilly in terms of the backing here, it doesn't really sound like you have a whole lot in this. What is here though does sound good, which is nice to hear and it all seems to come together pretty well, although on a whole, it is certainly quiet, so make it a little louder maybe.

Anyway, other than adding more backing and making it a bit louder, it is pretty good, the length is decent and the ending is also pretty good, though I would consider working on the opening, it doesn't quite sound all that good, but keep working at it.

"Pretty Good"

date: July 12, 2008

Can't really say it makes me want to get out of my seat though, in my view the sound is a little too metalic to do that if you get what I mean. It could have some diffrent kind of beats, I mean it does sound good and comes together well but to me not the kind of thing that strikes me. Anyway, it all does flow well through the whole thing.

A good opening to this and a good ending to the whole thing too, as well as the verious changes through the whole track, which is good to hear so good work on that. Maybe a little repeititive in parts though, but all the same, it sounds pretty good overall.

"Calm for Most Part"

date: July 12, 2008

It's pretty calm through most part of this which is interupted at the middle part of this whole tune by quite a mix of instuments, it would be nice to maybe hear the calmness keep through the whole thing, but it's mostly a nice tune which is good to hear. Through I do think it would sound much better with some vocals too it, just sounds like that kind of beat.

Everything else here sounds pretty good to me, a good intro to the whole thing as well as a decent ending. Lack of vocals let this down as well as the sudden change in tune towards the end, but other than those things, I have to say good work on this overall.

"Overwhelming"

date: July 12, 2008

This has quite a lot of beats in the main part which I find to be a little too much, it makes the whole thing too busy and well loud, as well as the hiss in this which you have had in other tracks, combining all this at once just really sounds annoying and loud. The hiss I have never been keen on, so yeah, I wouldn't mind to hear that gone from future tracks, lol.

You do have some nice parts to this, I thought the intro was good and some of the other parts to this, but when you build into something with so many beats, it just ends up sounding to me like a huge mess. It's be nice to keep them limited to a degree and not having it sound so busy.

At Journey's End - DEMO

"Good Job"

date: July 12, 2008

It certainly does come together very well and such, everything sounds to be well played which is good and the whole thing does have a very calm sound to it which I like. But there is something about this I'm not too keen on and that's the lack of much background, the piano playing is very good but besides that, it doesn't sound like there is much here which makes parts sound pretty empty.

Where that are pauses in this, some sort of background could fill those in to keep a flow of some kind, but not to say the whole thing is bad. I've always like the sound of the piano even though I can't play it, lmao. So on that of the piano, great work, just I feel needs some background.

Jxl180 - Endless Night

"Messy"

date: July 12, 2008

For the start and through many other parts of this it does sound to be a little fuzzy and kind of messy in that sense, it's a little too distorted for my liking. I mean it's good many good parts to it but I just don't really like the opening part being so distorted as well as other parts to this. It does open well and many of the beats through the tune are good.

The voice samples in this work with the whole tune and give something diffrent to listen to, but I am a little disappointed by there lack of linking to each other, you have a police voice is it then a lauch voice, I don't hear the link to that. Maybe use sample that work with each other and everything, makes sense that way, lol. But otherwise, good work with everything here, comes together pretty well and a good ending.

"Pretty Good"

date: July 12, 2008

I can't really hear what's so bad about the intro, other than being a little long, I can't hear any problems with it, infact I think it sounds pretty good, lol. The main tune itself is also very good, though after the starting few beats which may have seemed odd, the build up part was done very well and breaks into the song very well too.

The fuzz sound in random parts seems a little stange to me to say the least, I don't see how that really fits in, maybe you'd like to tell me why that's there because the idea is lost on me. Other than that, I think everything here comes together well and the ending is also done very well.

Those little static sounds aren't intentional. I think that's a glitch from my poizone vst, I have no idea why it's causing that but I'm gonna look it up...

Crank Dat Remix Youuuuuuuuuuuu

"lmao"

date: July 7, 2008

This doesn't sound that good and there's a lot of screaming, but it's definatly amusing and much better than the original. I don't like the hissing all that much but the singing is pretty nice in a way, much more tolerable than the original, parts of this also sound like the original which is great, though near the ending sounds like Scooby, dunno what you did there.

It's a shame it's so short though, you should have redone the entire song, that could have been pretty funny too. Well anyway, overall, the quality in parts isn't all that great but it gave me a laugh :)

Stuck on a Name

"It's Okay"

submission: Stuck on a Name

Well mainly it just sounds a little too repetitive to me, I mean it works and everything sounds okay, so there is nothing wrong with that, I just think it needs more change through the thing. You have parts where it goes much quieter and a few changes, but you should change the whole thing in bits so by the end it doesn't sound as much like the start, unless you want it to loop.

Overall though, there is nothing that stands out as sounding too bad and the ending fade does sound good, as does the opening build up. The only problem I have with it is the fact that it sounds to repetitive, sorry :(

"Pretty Nice"

submission: Ake 2
date: July 5, 2008

The first thing I would like to point out about this though is that the opening just seems to be a pause and then it suddenly bursts into the song, maybe work on that part. But after that everything seems to come together very well, even if you have some instuments that seem to sound a little too high pitched for my liking, lol.

You have everything coming together very well here, but it does seem to build into something a little too late, being right at the end. It does end well which is good, you just need to do that for the start and this will be perfect then, lol. Some odd sounds in this too, but all the same, it's pretty neat overall, good job.
