==(Repairing a Broken Sky)==

"Very Good"

date: August 5, 2008

This track sounds very good to me, the length is also nice here, which is good though can mean you get a bit too repetitive, which this doesn't, or atleast not in a noticible way anyway. So that's good to hear, there's nothing bad about this that I can hear right off, everything comes together very well and it's very plesent to listen to.

Good audio quality, very clear to hear everything that you have going on here, it does also sound dark in a way, but not in an unplesent way, kind of hard to explain the way this is coming off, but it does sound very good in that sense. The closing part of this sounds to build up in energy which is very good, sounds very nice and everything.

Overall this has a very good intro to it which I liked as well as a very nice closing part to everything, although I might be tempted to say the ending was a little too sudden in a way, it still worked all the same, so very nice job on this overall.

"Intresting Beat"

date: August 1, 2008

I like this in a way, it sounds like it has quite a calm start to it which sounds good to me, then it starts to sound a little darker and a little mysterious even, which does sounds good I have to say. The ending half of this with the kind of strange sounding voices came together well in my view, so nice work on fitting those in, though it's a shame this is a little short, a bit longer would have been good.

I liked the opening to this and much of what followed, which is good to hear, it's just a shame it ended so soon. I do hope that you make a long version of this, that would be good to have. There is nothing else wrong with this, the ending here does kind of work with everything.

Thank you for the review. What i fear of when posting longer songs is repetition. Even though this song can't really get repetitive, repetition has been a problem with my previous three minute songs.

I'll see what I can do, but no promises,

Summer Days (N)

"Good Work"

submission: Summer Days (N)
date: July 24, 2008

The lyrics here are very clear, though I might suggest putting them in the description anyway, lol. It's hard to find many songs that have vocals to them in the audio portal in my view, which is nice to hear some. One problem with this is that at some points with the singing, it crackles a little, so you might want to fix that. Though, not sure what the problem is, but eh maybe look into it.

The singing really fits in well with the background music, no problems with listerning to it, everything here seems to flow very well. Though some of the lines seem to be a little long but it seems the singer here managed to make them sound shorter, which is good, so nice work on the whole here.

I'll look into the crackling you mentioned, cause
I don't really hear it on my setup.

"Intresting"

submission: -Storm- |[Glou]|
date: July 24, 2008

Well you have quite a happy sounding tune to this considering it's suppost to be a storm type song, I would have expected something a little more dark, but alright, not saying it's bad just kind of diffrent, lol. The quality of the audio is good, everything is very clear although it's very hard to make out any sound of a storm for much of this, you might want to work that in a little more.

Not sure what else I can say about this, I mean overall this sounds pretty good to me, everything seems to come together very well with this tune, which is good to hear. Plenty of diversity through the whole track as well, so there is nothing repetitive that I can hear from this.

"Good Work"

date: July 24, 2008

I think this song really comes together very well from what I can hear of this, it has a very nice build up for the start and the ending is also very good, so nice work on both of those. I also like the tune between those two points as well obviously, lol, it sounds like it has quite a lot of energy and it is most certainly pretty fast paced which is good, it fits with this very well.

Everything here comes together very well, I have no problems with this, there is much diversity through the who thing and the changes from one sound to another is good. So overall I have to say, very good work with this, I really liked this track, good luck on future works.

"Needs Work"

submission: improvisational

The hissing that is going through this whole song really needs to be removed, I would consider fixing the way your record this or something because it's very annoying to listen to with the hissing. The vocals seem to sound like they are behind the music that is playing, you should try to mix it in better, they sound like they could work with the whole thing but just needs to fit in more.

I don't have any problems with the actual beats and the instuments playing, those sound good from what I can hear of them. It's just the quality problem and getting the lyrics to fit in with the whole background beat, but other than that, you've got the lyrics done well and the beats are good.

"Hmm, Okay"

submission: concord

Not really sure I'm too keen on this tune, I mean there is nothing wrong with the sound of it, but it just seems to lack a lot of anything that sounds noticible, it does sound a little fast paced in parts but doesn't really have a very energetic feel lin those parts. So in that sense this does seem a little empty, not sure what you can add, maybe some stronger beats.

Other than that though, the ending is pretty decent and the intro to this is also done very well, though with the ending you could fade it out as oppose to just ending it on one flat note. But overall, a pretty decent track here, good work on this and good luck on future works.

MAC 2008 - Monster

"Neat"

submission: MAC 2008 - Monster
date: July 24, 2008

It has quite a dakr tune to it, which comes together well the way you have done it and everything seems to sound very good to me, a little slow for most part too. The main background seems to be hidden at parts over more dominant sounds, which is okay, I mean it does work in a way and it can still be heard by the listner, keeping something constant there.

There is quite a long silance at the very end, I can't see why you don't just cut that off really, lol. The opening to this sounds good and the build up is very good but somewhat slow which I'm not too keen on, the closing part of the song is also very good, except for the long silance.

Author's Response:

The silence is a sort of opener for the following track I was going to submit a day later but decided not to. I originally was going to make this song a bit more fast-paced but realized that it ruined the mood so then I slowed it down a bit and it felt more like what I wanted. Thanks for the review.

"Calm"

date: July 24, 2008

This sounds like a pretty calm track overall, there is nothing here that really stands out from the rest of the track though, so not a whole lot of energy in this but it's still pretty good all the same. The piano sounds to be played pretty well, which sounds good and the rest of the music that goes with it really precents this from sounding dull, so nice work on that.

You have done some good work on the opening to this as well as the ending, both of those seem to sound very good to me. Overall I have to say this is a very decent track and very clam, there's nothing I can really suggest for you to change, because adding more energy into this would probably just ruing it, lol, so good job.

Don't Stop The Party!

"Good Job"

date: July 24, 2008

I think this whole thing comes together very well, you have used the time very well, considering it's length that is. It's not too reptitive which I think is a good thing, there is plenty of change through this to keep the listener intrested in the whole song, which is great to hear, so nice work on that part.

As for the actual tune itself, well I really think the beats here come together very well, without looking at the timeline it can sound like it's ending when it's changing into a diffrent form of beat which really does work with this on the whole. There is a lot of energy in the beats here from what I can hear which sounds really good to me and I like that.

Overall a very decent length to this track and everything, I have no real problems with this, infact I like most things about this. The quality of the audio here is also very good, so I must say nice work on that and everything here including the opening and the ending.
